Numata Sensei has over 50 years of experience in Aikido and Iaido. He brings a fresh and down-to-earth teaching style to our Virtual Dojo community.
Broadcasting from his dojo in Japan, Numata Sensei utilizes taped lines, right/left markers and other simple but innovative tools to illustrate movements.
His movements reflect his years of dedicated training, focusing on basics such as alignment, posture, zanshin, as well as advanced technical points such as correct angles, grip, etc.
His classes are original, inviting, and hugely informative for beginners and experts alike.
